Considering the Abortion Pill?

Medication abortions are only an option if taken up to 70 days
after your last menstrual period.

The type and cost of surgical abortions available to you depend on multiple factors, including how far along you are. An ultrasound can determine viability and give you the information you need to plan your next steps.

If you are considering ordering the abortion pill online, for your health and safety, make an ultrasound appointment today before you book or buy.

Types of Abortion Procedures

Aspiration Abortion

An aspiration abortion is one of the most common types of first trimester abortions and can be combined with a D&C for early second trimester abortions.

D&C and D&E Abortions

These types of surgical abortions are typically performed at 14 weeks or later.

If you are more than 10 weeks pregnant, contact us to learn more about all your options.

Your health & Safety checklist

Is the pregnancy viable?

A positive pregnancy test is an indicator of pregnancy, not a verification. Before you pay for an abortion, rule out a naturally occurring miscarriage. If the pregnancy is not viable, the abortion pill should not be taken.

Is the pregnancy occurring in the uterus?

It's important to rule out an ectopic pregnancy before you buy or take abortion pills or before you schedule a procedure.

Do you know your Rh factor?

This can determine if you need a RhoGAM shot after an abortion is complete. If you are Rh-negative, we can provide a needed RhoGam shot to you.

Have you been tested for STDs?

If you are considering an abortion procedure, ruling out an STI can prevent further infection or complications. We provide the needed testing and treatment prior to an abortion procedure.

Do you know how far along you are?

This information can determine the type of abortion and the cost of an abortion. While our practitioners do not provide abortion services, we provide an ultrasound for you at no cost. so you can get the answers you need to make an informed choice.
